Hi, lovelies! Now that most of us are back in school, it’s time to get back to working and studying hard (sadly). Because of the stress that school pushes on us, it’s important to keep things with you that help de-stress and refresh yourself. Today, I’ll be showing some essentials to keep in your backpack to make school a little less demanding on your body.

#1 – A Planner
A planner is one of the things I need to have with me at all times. It is literally the key to never forgetting an assignment ever again. Writing everything down for each class will relieve the stress of thinking you forgot to do something. The best thing about this is that you don’t even need to purchase one! That’s right, my planner is on my iPad, which is so nice due to the fact that it gives me constant reminders to complete them! I highly recommend everyone to purchase one or download an app from the app store because this will save you so much trouble in the future!
#2 – Toiletry Bag
Bringing a small toiletry bag is something that I recommend everyone to do! Some things to pack can be lotion, perfume, face wipes, gum, medicine, feminine products, hair ties, band-aids, a small brush, deodorant, and makeup for touch-ups. If you’ve ever felt gross or uncomfortable during the day, this little bag can save you. I find that once in a while I’ll need to freshen up in the bathroom or even just need a simple hair tie. So even if you are spending hours at a time at school, you can still feel your best.
#3 – A Good Book
If you ever find yourself having nothing to do, a great book helps you escape the chaos and relax for some time. Books are extremely helpful and easy ways to stop thinking about school and diving new worlds. This can lead to your brain letting off a lot of steam!
Just like getting carried away in a book, music is also helpful to silence the constant noise at school. It’s good to just have a handy a pair of headphones and listen to music to study or just to take a break.
#5 – Snacks & Drinks
How many times have you been in a class and all of a sudden your stomach starts grumbling? For me, this happens all the time. Be prepared and bring a snack like some fruits or a granola bar. Also, bring some water to quench your thirst. Possessing this in your bag is great for when you are feeling a bit hungry before or after lunch.
