Things I Loved This August ✨

Hi loves! August was a month full of excitement and nervousness. With the last days of summer and the first hectic days of school, this month was definitely a wild one. Through all of the craziness, I did have some things to keep me grounded and relaxed. So, in this post, I’ll be showing you my August favorites!

This post is a collaboration with Inalifeblogger! She posts creative content from book recommendations, hauls, how to set goals and journaling. Definitely go show her blog some love!

Without further ado, let’s get started! ♡

#1 – Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

One of my new year’s resolutions was to start reading again; however, I haven’t been keeping up with it. When I think about my favorite book, I probably think of this one. This book is essentially about Simon Snow, a young boy who is supposedly the most powerful wizard in the world but can’t seem to do spells correctly. Monsters are threatening to destroy the wizarding world and he and his friends need to save it. It’s full of romance, mystery, and magic. If you loved the Harry Potter series, I highly recommend this one!

#2 – The Harry Potter Series

Reading “Carry On” made me extremely nostalgic about the Harry Potter series. These movies were some of my favorites, but I haven’t watched them in years! So, last weekend, I decided to throw a little marathon and watched most of the series. Boy oh boy, did it feel nice to watch them again!

#3 – Reputation by Taylor Swift

I don’t know about you (but I’m feeling 22), but I’ve loved Taylor Swift ever since I was a little girl. Not only do I enjoy her music, but she’s also one of my favorite style icons. I’ve been wanting to own the vinyl for so long and I finally got my hands on it. I absolutely love the darker mood this album has and it’s been on repeat ever since it came out!

#4 – Bath and Body Works Lavender Candle & Focus Hand Cream

Bath and Body Works is literally heaven on earth. One of my absolute favorite candles they sell is Lavender Vanilla because I love the relaxing and refreshing scent. It makes every room smell so nice! Another thing from there that I’ve been loving, is the Focus Hand Cream. I like to keep this in my bag at school if I ever need to moisturize my hands. It’s full of essential oils, tea, and eucalyptus. I’m actually thinking about purchasing this as a candle as well!

#5 – White Mom Jeans

For a really long time, I’ve wanted to purchase a pair of white mom jeans. What was holding me back was the chance of it being see-through or being easily stained. I found this super cute pair of jeans on YesStyle for a really good price and decided to go for it. When it arrived, I was so excited because it fit me perfectly and was not at all transparent! It’s so comfortable and I was shocked at how good the quality of the denim was. It’s safe to say, I’ve worn it too many times!

So that’s it for this week’s post everyone! I hoped you all enjoyed, and leave a comment about your August favorites! Also, be sure to go check out Inalifeblogger, it was so much fun collaborating with her! If you would like to follow me on my other social media, my Instagram is Claraxmariana. Love you all, see you soon!

    1. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed! See for me it’s actually the complete opposite, it took me so long to finish Fangirl. I may have to reread to see how I truly feel about it!

  1. I’ve been wanting a pair of white mom jeans in ages, but I just haven’t found the right ones yet. Your’s look so so cool! Also, I’ve been loving Harry Potter a little extra this month as well – how funny! And I will most definitely continue to binge watch it through the whole of Autumn ❤ xxx
